I'm feeling much better, but still have phlegm issues and the cough isn't completely gone. .....not to mention I gave it to Steve. He, however, has one of the best immune systems I've ever seen and is already starting to feel better after a week. .....instead of 2 1/2 like me. Oh well, at least he's getting back to normal. =)

Taxes went off without a hitch. We get the house credit this year -- yippie! Too bad the money's already spent. BUT, it's going toward stuff that we bought for the house, then we'll be that much closer to being out of consumer debt. It is my goal to be out of debt in the new future. Besides the house and a car. I can't wait!

I know the people who read this blog (or should I say person?) already know this, but....I'll go ahead and put it in here for documentation's sake. I've decided not to do the Highline Hustle Sprint Triathlon. I'm disappointed, but came to the realization that.....I couldn't think of any reason why I wanted to do it! All I could think about was how horrible the biking and running was going to be. I feel like a giant weight has been lifted from my shoulders knowing that June 12th isn't looming. Yay!
Now, I've got to search my soul and get to the root of my eating and weight problems. WHY do I overeat? HOW can I overcome this? Once I figure that out, I'll let you know. =)

I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year.
LOVE - opening the windows and feeling the cool, refreshing breeze come through the windows.
HATE - allergies
LOVE - that is stays lighter later
LOVE - that it's grill season!
HATE - listening to the screaming brats that are playing outside....their obnoxiousness streams in the open windows and drives me bananas.
